The contact details below come from the 2024 Alabama law-enforcement directory. No separately named records unit, public office hours, dedicated form, fee schedule, records email, or guaranteed response time was found. Confirm routing before visiting and ask for an estimate before ordering copies.

- For a current county custody check, call the Sumter County Sheriff's Office and jail. Give the person's full legal name and date of birth if known.
- For a booking sheet or photograph, review the county search and records-request path, then send a focused written request to the Sheriff. Name the image separately.
